We are so excited to have our website up and running. Here you will find all the posts about life on the ranch. My goal is to have you follow along on our journey as we try to be good stewards of the land we have been blessed with as we have started from the ground level to start a ranch.
Please join us as we raise chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and bees! There will be comical moments for sure! Join me and MacGyver, (my hubby), as we try to keep all the critters healthy and happy. Saddle up and hold on. It will be quite the ride and adventure is sure to be found on the Cedar J.

About Me
I am a stay-at-home mom who has raised four children with one still at home. I love the smell of saddle leather and how it feels to sit on top of a horse and go for a ride. Growing up I lived in a subdivision but always loved visiting my grandparent’s farm. It was an escape for me. I realized living in the country was in my blood and everywhere we have lived we have gotten further and further from town.
My husband is my rock and my personal MacGyver. The man is amazing and works hard to provide for our family and he loves to play in the dirt and destresses from a hard day driving his tractor. We work together to get projects done. There is always a fence to mend, animals to feed, and eggs to collect. We feel truly blessed to live the life we live.
