The Animals

We are still alive!

Still alive and kicking

3 minutes

I have been meaning to post for awhile and keep getting distracted. So here I am. Not being distracted and making a post!

We will have a new ranch hand in the family come December. Our third child and second daughter, is engaged!

Aren't they adorable!???

We are in full wedding plan mode. It will be a winter wedding and will be wonderful! He is a great young man and compliments our daughter so well.  They are going to make an amazing couple and we are so happy for them!!!

We finally named the female goats. Miss Goaters, that was MacGyver's call, and Mabel. They are too sweet and a lot of fun. The boys are still being , well boys, but they have chilled out a bit.

Mabel is the lighter colored goat. Miss Goaters is the darker goat.

I helped MacGyver insulate our shed. We are insulating it for the dogs this winter. They have some sweet digs for sure. Now we hope they will use it!

I actually did help and did not just take pictures the whole time!

And here is a random photo of my forehead. I had gone into the house to get something and upon returning outside I bent over to get my shoes and lets just say: Shoe Rack-1   Stephi's head- 0.

We had to say good-bye to one of our cats. We went on a trip and when we returned we were not able to find one of our cats, Tiggy. She had an auto-immune condition and we are not sure if she got sick and went to hide and die or if another critter got her. We have been seeing and hearing some coyotes. Regardless, we lost Tiggy. It is a bummer. She was 12yrs old, no spring chicken, but she was still a good mouser and we miss her.

RIP sweet Tiggy.
Hank has been a little confused on where his cuddle buddy went.

We need good mousers around the ranch. With the loss of Tiggy we brought home two kittens. Hank isn't very happy with us. Hank is 12yrs old too and so we decided to get two in case Hank joins Tiggy in the near future. These two kittens are adorable and so friendly. I would like to introduce you to:

Milo (orange male ) and Taz ( white and black female). Taz is short for Tazmanian Devil. She is nuts!!!! She has no fear and will be a great mouser. Milo is a little more chill.

Our youngest son took this photo and it is too cute!

We are busy getting ready for winter as it is soon approaching. Can someone please tell me what happened to September and October?? Seriously, I don't even remember what I did the last two months. WOW! Time is really cruising.

Have a great week. Thanks for stopping by for the update.
