The Animals

What have the animals been up to???

Catching up on the ranch

3-4 minutes

Here is a little update on some of our 4-legged creatures on the ranch.

Jazzy- our senior horse. He is 28 yrs old!
He loves to munch on some green grass outside the pen. We were waiting for the farrier this day.

MacGyver and #4 helped me with a farrier appointment in May or so. I wasn't quite ready to handle a 1200lb horses with my gimpiness. I can now though!!!

Mav was trying to figure out how to get in the pen with Moxie so he could sample her grain.
He wasn't impressed that I wouldn't let him in.
This is mouse catcher extraordinaire, Hank .
Hank is proficient at selfies and photo bombs.
These two are trained to stay on our driveway when I go to the mailbox. I had to use the gator to get the mail in the early days of rehab. I can walk up to the mailbox all by myself now!
They are anxiously awaiting me to throw a tennis ball from a thrower. Since we cant go for long walks or even a run, the ball thrower works great!
Aili wasn't in trouble but I think she thought she was!!
I had to hold the ranch down by myself for a few days as the boys were gone. MacGyver made sure I didn't fall into the duck pond and laid some bark down for a path for me. It was much appreciated. Note: I didn't fall into the pond!!!
Into the ducks enclosure.
MacGyer built a new enclosure off our dog kennels for the dogs! The man is a genius.!
It looks great!
MacGyer and I went to a George Straight concert. We were two rows back from the stage right in the middle!!
Proof we were there!!!

My chickens are laying eggs like crazy, need eggs? Want eggs? Of course you do!!! Let me know I can hook you up!

Ducks are loving the pond along with Goose Goose and our sheep are just hanging out waiting for treats every now and then. I've been working my bees too so we will see how that goes. Keep your fingers crossed. I still feel completely lost!

Until next time.  Get outside, enjoy the sunshine and remember to get your hands in the dirt and a little mud on your boots!
