Trash here on the ranch is collected every other week. We have to haul the trash cans up to the end of our driveway. It isn't really THAT far but it is a little bit of a pull up the driveway from the house to reach the desired placement by our trash service.
So why am I talking about trash??? Well, it is a part of the work on the ranch and I thought I would should how we redneck it up the driveway to the proper placement.
Being that I am still a little gimpy, from my total knee replacement, but doing better, ( thank you for asking), it can be a challenge to hoof those trash bins up the driveway to the road. So we use the Gator and a lead rope to drag those babies up the drive.
They go up very easily, with no damage to the trash bin or to myself! Those suckers are heavy!!!
Now that you have been enlightened on how we move our trash bins on to Pip.
This is Pip. She is by the far the smartest dog we have ever had. She was the runt of her litter and we got her for free. Though 24 hrs into her stay at the Johnson place she developed Parvo. As a puppy that is bad news and we had her less than 24 hrs and she had to go to the vet for a stay when she was a pup. She made it through with flying colors and is now a happy, and getting old and lazy, 9yr old Blue Healer.
We went out to give Jazzy his meds and she rode along with me VIP style. Grizz's foot has healed so I made him run.
Like I said Pip is super smart. I swear she speaks human. She makes me feel like I am the best dog trainer in the world. Which is saying something because I am far from it. My fuse is incredibly short and my patience worse. Pip is very sensitive and she gets command almost on the first time. She also knows when she has done something wrong and she sulks.
Pip can herd a cow, horse or chicken without fear. Horses are her favorite and with our geriatric crew she has to be reminded to "leave it" around the horse. She just cant help herself. Her demise may come at the swift kick of one our horses. She has come too close a time or two and limped away from herding a horse.
All in all Pip is awesome. She is a great alarm when folks come around and she is an integral part of the ranch animal crew.
