Grizz, Wood and Chickens

Grizz, wood, and chickens

2 minutes

Yesterday we had to stack wood. MacGyver used the chainsaw, cut up logs, and then we took the rounds to our splitter and split the wood to fill our rack.

I failed to get photos of the whole process but here is the end result.

Small Rack
Big Rack! Covers the lower part of my kitchen window view from the inside. Doesn't help that I am short.

After we did the wood I was waiting in the barn for MacGyver and was sitting on one of our 4-wheelers. Grizz loves the 4-wheeler so I told him to join me.

Grizz is not very good at making funny faces.
I am not a fan of dog kisses. Do you know what he eats????? GROSSS!!!!! Think horses, chickens, ducks and a Goose and all their poop!
Now he is just annoyed with me because I wouldn't let him give me a kiss.

To sum up the post I thought you should have a photo of our chickens who are glad all our snow melted, (we had a big storm come through a week or so ago and dump a bunch of snow,) and are out in their big yard scratching around.

The ladies

The weather is warming up a little. We had single digits a week or more ago and it is nice to have it warm up to the 50's. Not sure what the winter will hold for us here in Montana but we will take it when it comes. We don't have much of a choice! Have a great week and be sure to get outside and enjoy nature. It's pretty awesome.
