Yesterday started out with a gorgeous morning. No wind, no snow ( falling from the sky that is ) and plenty of sunshine! It made doing chores easy peesy.
I love the mountains around where we live. Mountains are kinda my jam!
After I finished up the chores I hung out with the horses for a bit. Everyone got a good scratch. Moxie and Mav were wondering why I was leaving the pasture. They followed me to the gate. Ok, in all honesty, they were probably waiting to see if I remembered to latch the gate in case they could make a break for it!
Now, about the title of this post. Maybe I should become an influencer. The following are what I wear out to do chores in the winter. If there are any companies that want to send me their stuff for free to try out, by all means send away! I am happy to test it out for you!! LOL! Maybe I should use a # for everything..........
These are my heated gloves. I have wimpy hands. They are always cold. These babies have a battery that I can charge and get toasty warm hands while I do chores. I bought these at #Costco. They really do work and I can get a couple of days out of one charge. Now, that is only going out for 20 minutes or so in the morning and evening for a couple of days before needing to charge them up. They are awesome!
You have to have a good hat! Just ask MacGyver. Well, Macgyver is bald so he is very much a hat supporter!
My #Carhartt hat is my go to hat. I even get a little cranky when one of the kids borrows it and does not put the hat back where I left it and I cannot find it. It is a popular hat at the ranch.
I bought this oil-skin #Outback jacket this season and I love it! It is lined with warmth and goodness! It is a great jacket on the super cold days when my flannel jacket won't cut it. So glad I bought this!
#LL Bean boots! My lace up boots have been great this winter. They keep my toes very toasty. Our family has always been a LL Bean family. Especially since we lived in Maine for a couple of years and were able to shop regulary at their flagship store in Freeport Maine. They are open 24 hrs!!! Good quality and good stuff!
When the chores are done I slip off my LL Bean boots and I slip on my #Oofos. I have terrible Plantar Fasciitis and these help ease the pain a bit. These are my go to house shoe. Very cushy and comfy.
There you have it. My winter gear. Bring on those corporate endorsements!
Just thought I would show my gear. I am looking forward to spring and not having to suit up every morning to do chores. Yes, I know, I live in Montana, so I should get over it. The older I get the harder winter is on my body and my psyche. I am thinking a nice warm place in Arizona for the winter and a summer retreat in Montana would be good. I bet the horses are up for a road trip!
Have a great day and get outside! ( and then quickly come back in if you live where it is cold LOL!)
