I am done with winter. I know , I know, I know, I live in Montana, so what's the problem right? As my age increases I am finding that I prefer sun and warmth over cold and ice. I am all about a good ski day, don't get me wrong. There is room for good snow and sunshine and my boards to get me down the hill. I am simply starting to really not like winter. Arizona is looking more and more appealing every year.
Just when I am about to throw in the towel God goes and does this:
Then I look over and God has done this:
He adds my horses into the beautiful sunrise and my heart melts. I take a deep breath of the cold morning and give a little prayer of thanks for the day. I love the mountains. I know, huge contradiction, but I do. The mountains are my happy place. I am simply ready for spring and green grass. I will do my best to not say a peep about how hot it might get this summer. Feel free to remind me when it is 100 degrees. ( thankfully it doesn't get that hot here in Montana and I have probably just jinxed myself)
On another note. Due to my inability to lift a 40lb feed bag due to my back, I had to improvise on how to fill up the duck bin with their feed.
I scooped the feed from the bag into the pink and green buckets until the bag was more manageable for me to lift into the gator.
Then I drove the whole kit and kaboodle over to the duck and goose pen and filled their food bin. A little bit red neck but it worked!
Hang in there, spring is coming. Green grass and longer days are on the horizon. If I can hang in there so can you!
