The Cedar J took a little trip to Texas a week or so ago. We visited MacGyver's sister and brother in law and we saw our nieces and nephews and our two Great Nephews! I know, right??? How are we that old??? I have no idea but somehow we are a great aunt and uncle! Anyway, it was great and we loved visiting.
After a couple of days we headed up to Fort Worth to see our oldest daughter and her husband. Our oldest son met up with us too. We had a great trip!
We went to the Fort Worth Stockyards:
Our youngest son was over the moon excited to find an Honduran food truck that sold Baleadas. One of his favorite foods from Honduras. He was able to talk to the owner of the truck in Spanish and the locals that were standing around couldn't believe this "gringo" could speak so well!
We recreated a Texas Blue Bonnet photo of child 1 and 2 when they were about 2 yrs old and 1 yr old. Child number two really didn't like sitting in grass when he was little. He hated anything on his legs.
Then of course we had to get the whole crew in the blue bonnets.
It was a great trip, great food and even better company. We were just missing our Masa, our third child, who will be home from her church mission in May!
On the way home, in the airport, I snapped this photo:
Now, an explanation of part of the title. When we got back from Texas I went out to do chores and didn't have to wear a stocking cap!!! Spring has arrived on the Cedar J! The grass is turning green and the weeds are growing!! Oh and it is supposed to snow tomorrow, but that is Montana for ya!
